We’re delighted to introduce Salem Midsummer Cream, a refreshing 4.1% ABV seasonal ale brewed for long summer days and relaxed evenings. Crafted at our historic Salem Bridge Brewery in Wainfleet, this limited-edition beer combines Salem Brew Co.’s spirit of innovation with the brewing expertise and heritage that have defined Batemans for generations.
Pouring a pale straw colour, Midsummer Cream offers a beautifully balanced drinking experience. Light sweetness and delicate citrus notes are complemented by a smooth, creamy mouthfeel, creating a beer that is crisp, refreshing and exceptionally easy-drinking. Subtle hints of honey and vanilla add depth and character, delivering a satisfying finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.

“Midsummer Cream was created to capture everything we love about summer drinking, light, refreshing flavours, smooth drinkability and just enough character to keep things interesting. The delicate honey and vanilla aromas are a real pleasure, and those flavours carry through beautifully on the palate, adding a subtle sweetness that perfectly complements the crisp citrus notes. Brewed using carefully selected malts including Maris Otter Pale, Pale Ale malt, flaked corn and honey, alongside Hallertau Mittelfruh and Cluster hops, Midsummer Cream achieves a clean, balanced profile that is approachable, flavourful and wonderfully refreshing.
