As the nation prepares to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day, we are proud to be part of the commemorations with the launch of a special charity beer: Last Post.
This limited-edition ale has been brewed in honour of those who served and sacrificed during World War II. A traditional golden, full-flavoured beer with a refreshing citrus taste, Last Post embodies the spirit of community and remembrance.
To support the ongoing work of the Royal British Legion, Batemans is donating 10p from every pint of Last Post sold directly to the charity. These funds will help provide lifelong support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families.
Stuart Bateman commented “VE Day is a poignant reminder of the bravery and resilience shown by so many. We wanted to do something that not only honours that legacy but also gives back to those who have served our country. We’re proud to support the Royal British Legion through this initiative.”
Last Post will be available in selected pubs in May, giving beer lovers the perfect way to raise a glass in remembrance.
