The Carpenters Arms is popularly known as the Carps, and the pub has been refurbished inside and out in 2018. The pub specialises in live entertainment , with many local bands. Batemans real ales are always on sale. There is also a large collection of interesting music memorabilia decorating the walls. The back room has a pool table and darts board.
